Applications are invited for two or more Academic Associate (postdoctoral) positions in the research group of Indrakshi Raychowdhury at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, K K Birla Goa Campus, India.

The group works on quantum algorithms, quantum computation, implementation and benchmarking of quantum processors, with applications in high energy physics, lattice gauge theories, condensed matter physics, and related areas. This opportunity is especially relevant for candidates with a strong background in theoretical physics and interest in emerging quantum technologies.

Eligibility highlights: PhD thesis submitted or degree awarded in theoretical physics; experience with high performance computing; familiarity with quantum information science or quantum computing is preferred.
