About this position
Postdoctoral Fellow position in the Laboratory of Genome Integrity at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Bethesda, Maryland, USA.
The project focuses on embryonic stem cells, mouse embryos, cell fate decisions, totipotency, and zygotic genome activation. The lab uses human and mouse embryonic stem cells, live cell/embryo imaging, single-cell technologies, and CRISPR-based editing to study how a single cell develops into a multicellular organism.
This is a fully funded postdoctoral training position for up to five years with a starting stipend of $67,200. The role is full-time and in-person.
Applicants should have or soon have a Ph.D. in Developmental Biology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, or a related field, with demonstrated expertise in molecular biology and mammalian cell culture. Experience with embryonic stem cells is preferred. Additional advantages include mouse embryology, single-cell RNA-seq, chromatin architecture, and next-generation sequencing.
