About this position
NSCORE (National Synthesis Center for Organismal Resilience) is recruiting its inaugural cohort of Postdoctoral Fellow Research Scientists based in the Department of Ecology, Evolution and Environmental Biology at Columbia University.
The positions sit at the intersection of biology, ecology, evolution, environmental biology, and computer science, with a strong emphasis on building computational organismal biology and developing AI tools to synthesize data from molecules to ecosystems and predict organismal resilience under change.
Each postdoc will spend half of their time working with one of NSCORE’s first three working groups and half conducting independent synthesis science using existing organismal and environmental data under the mentorship of affiliated faculty.
Applicants should have an excellent scientific record, a strong publication history, evidence of independent scholarship, and experience leading interdisciplinary teams. The post mentions a generous salary, office space at NSCORE, a modest research and travel allowance, and access to compute resources.
Application details are available via the Interfolio application link. No deadline was stated in the post.
