Chan Zuckerberg Biohub New York is recruiting a Postdoctoral Fellow / Scientist I for the Laboratory of Synthetic Spatial Omics in New York, USA. This is an onsite research role focused on synthetic biology, immune cell engineering, spatial multi-omics, systems biology, protein design, and machine learning.

The lab works at the intersection of frontier AI, biological foundation models, and experimental biology to understand engineered immune cell function in native tissue microenvironments and to design better cell therapies. The successful candidate will computationally design programmable molecular components such as receptors and transcription factors, engineer immune cells, profile them with spatial multi-omics methods such as seqFISH+, and analyze high-dimensional imaging and sequencing data to uncover cellular functions and engineering principles.

Funding and compensation: the posted base pay range is $93,000 for Postdoctoral Fellow and $120,000-$150,000 for Scientist I in New York City, with possible annual bonus eligibility and benefits such as 401(k) match, volunteer PTO, family-forming benefits, and relocation support.
