The AgroBioSciences Program (AgBS) at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) in Morocco is seeking a postdoctoral fellow specializing in Modeling and Crop Yield Prediction in Africa. This postdoctoral position focuses on developing advanced models for estimating and predicting the yields of targeted crops across Africa. The successful candidate will join a dynamic research team and contribute to high-impact projects that integrate agronomy, biostatistics, geospatial analysis, and machine learning. Key responsibilities include collecting and analyzing crop production data, developing and implementing simulation models using secondary data and on-farm trials, conducting spatial analyses to predict yields at various scales, and publishing research findings in high-impact journals. The fellow will also supervise master’s and doctoral students and contribute to the overall goals of the research team.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. in agronomy, modeling, biostatistics, or a closely related field.
