About this position
Exciting postdoctoral fellowship opportunity at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) through the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) program.
The project is titled “Impact of Proteinuria on Monoclonal Antibody (mAb) Elimination” and sits at the intersection of clinical pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, PK/PD modeling, and regulatory science. The fellow will study how proteinuria affects monoclonal antibody clearance and efficacy, with the goal of developing dose-adjustment recommendations for patients with kidney disease such as lupus nephritis.
The selected fellow will use pharmacokinetic modeling and simulation to analyze the relationship between proteinuria severity and mAb elimination, support optimal drug exposure, and contribute to FDA guidance for biologic products.
Eligibility highlights include a recent PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Clinical Pharmacology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field, plus strong PK/PD modeling experience. Familiarity with tools such as NONMEM, R, or Monolix is highly desirable, along with strong scientific writing and communication skills.
To apply, visit the Zintellect opportunity page and follow the application instructions in the posting.
