Postdoctoral Fellowship in Secure IoT Routing and Network Simulation at North-West University North-West University in South Africa

North-West University is inviting applications for a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Secure IoT Routing & Network Simulation at the Unit for Data Science and Computing, NWU Mafikeng Campus in South Africa.

This is a full-time 2–3 year postdoctoral position focused on IoT security, secure routing, RPL, 6LoWPAN, and network simulation tools such as NetSim. The post is especially relevant for candidates with a strong background in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, and broader interests in Information Technology and networked systems.

Funding: The fellowship includes a tax-free stipend of R320,000 per annum, plus R50,000 annual research funding and R20,000 relocation support.

Eligibility highlights: Applicants should hold a recent PhD in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, have a solid publication record, and demonstrate hands-on experience in IoT security and related simulation/networking tools.
