Postdoctoral Opportunity in Protein Degradation and Quality Control at EPFL; Master’s Project in Chemistry École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in Switzerland

Postdoctoral opportunity at EPFL in the Laboratory of Proteostasis and Molecular Therapeutics (LPMT), Lausanne, Switzerland.

The Kozicka lab is recruiting a 3-year postdoc starting February 1, 2027. The project is centered on protein degradation, quality control, and molecular recognition, using cellular and biochemical approaches to understand how molecular recognition shapes protein stability. This is a strong fit for candidates with interests in chemical biology, proteostasis, and mechanisms of drug action.

The position is funded for 3 years and includes an internationally competitive salary. Master’s project opportunities are also available for external Master students. The lab notes an EPFL Chemistry funded 6-month stay for thesis work, with the ISIC Master Grant for Foreign Students providing CHF 1,600 per month for up to six months. For projects starting in January–June, the deadline is October 15; for projects starting July–December, the deadline is April 15.
