Postdoctoral Position in Antenna Design for RF Plasma Generation for Medical Applications IRSEEM in France

IRSEEM in Rouen, France is recruiting for a postdoctoral position focused on antenna design for RF plasma generation with medical applications. The appointment is for 18 or 24 months and is part of a new research contract with industrial partners.

The research environment is the Research Institute for Embedded Electronics Systems (IRSEEM), overseen by ESIGELEC and the University of Rouen Normandy. The lab works on cyber-physical systems and has strong experimental infrastructure, including anechoic chambers, near-field testbenches, and RF measurement equipment operating up to 70 GHz.

Applicants should have a PhD in antenna design and electromagnetics, a strong publication record, and excellent English communication skills. Experience with CST, HFSS, FEKO, ADS, MATLAB, and RF measurement tools such as VNA and synthesizers is expected. The role involves literature review, physics/theoretical analysis, prototype design and testing, reporting experimental campaigns, weekly presentations, and writing papers for journals and conferences.
