About this position
Postdoctoral Position in Biomaterials & Precision Glioblastoma Therapy at the Laboratory of Catalysis and Spectrochemistry (LCS – CNRS), Caen, France.
This postdoctoral opening is part of the ONCOPIT project and focuses on the development of advanced biomaterials for precision glioblastoma therapy. The research sits at the intersection of materials science, biomaterials engineering, controlled therapeutic delivery, cancer immunotherapy, and regenerative medicine.
The project aims to design surface-modified nanozeolites and injectable zeolite-based hydrogels for local and systemic treatment of glioblastoma. The successful candidate will work on synthesis and design of hierarchically porous biomaterials, surface functionalization and bioconjugation, injectable and in situ-forming hydrogels, gelation/injectability/degradation studies, pH- and light-responsive release, and structural, morphological, physicochemical, and rheological characterization.
Applicants should hold a PhD in Biomaterials, Materials Science, Materials Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline. Prior experience with injectable or in situ-forming hydrogels is especially valued, and expertise in porous materials, surface functionalization, controlled drug delivery, rheology, or advanced characterization will strengthen an application.
The position is a full-time 18-month contract with a gross monthly salary of €3,071.50–€4,258.37, depending on experience. The starting date is 1 November 2026, and the application deadline is 21 September 2026.
