About this position

Postdoctoral position in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on neuroengineering at Lund University, Faculty of Engineering (LTH), Department of Biomedical Engineering, Sweden.

This is a full-time, fixed-term 2-year postdoctoral employment. The role is research-focused, with teaching possible up to 20% of working time. The position is intended to support career development and independence as a researcher.

Eligibility and requirements: a PhD or equivalent in the relevant subject area is required before appointment. Priority is given to candidates who completed the PhD within the last three years. Strong experience in computational modelling, signal processing, machine learning, statistical inference, scientific computing, or related data-driven methods is expected, along with programming skills in Python or similar languages. Applicants should have experience with biomedical signals such as EMG, EEG, or MEG, very good English, independence, teamwork, and publications in peer-reviewed international journals.

Preferred experience: large datasets, experimental data acquisition, high-performance/GPU/parallel computing, probabilistic modelling, inverse problems, and reproducible research software development.

Funding: this is a salaried employment position at Lund University; no stipend amount is stated.
