Postdoctoral opening in neuro-oncology and precision therapeutic delivery at the Acoustic Robotics Systems Lab, ARTORG Center for Biomedical Engineering Research, University of Bern, in collaboration with Mohamad El Amki at the University of Zurich.
The project focuses on developing ultrasound technologies for precise and localized treatment of brain tumours, including approaches to overcome biological barriers such as the blood-brain barrier and enable targeted drug delivery and gene delivery to selected tumour regions.
Applicants should have a PhD or MD-PhD and a strong background in one or more of: neuro-oncology, ultrasound in neuroscience, cancer biology, experimental neuroscience, neurovascular biology, blood-brain barrier research, pharmacology, molecular medicine, or biomedical sciences.
