Yunnan Minzu University in Kunming, China is advertising a 2-year postdoctoral position in photoredox catalysis, visible light chemistry, and synthetic methodologies with Prof. Baomin Fan’s research group.

The project focuses on visible light-driven chemical transformations and methodology development in modern organic synthesis. This is a strong fit for candidates with research experience in photochemistry, photoredox catalysis, or related synthetic reaction development.

Eligibility highlights: Indian nationals only; age under 35; PhD awarded within the last three years; degree convocation certificate required (provisional certificates are not accepted); at least four first-author publications in photochemistry/photoredox catalysis in high-impact journals; strong background in photoredox catalysis, visible light-mediated reactions, or related synthetic methodology development.

Funding: competitive stipend of 160,000 RMB per year plus a research fund of 40,000 RMB per year.
