Postdoctoral Positions in Civil Engineering Materials and Structural Engineering Jinan University in China

Jinan University is seeking highly motivated postdoctoral researchers in civil engineering materials and structural engineering.

The research group works on advanced and interdisciplinary topics in cement-based materials, including mechanical performance and durability, microstructural and chemical characterisation, CO₂ sequestration in construction materials, sustainable waste recycling systems, multifunctional and smart cementitious composites, and emerging areas such as energy storage concrete and concrete-based supercapacitors.

Ideal candidates should have strong expertise in concrete technology, structural materials, durability, sustainability, or closely related areas. A strong SCI Q1 publication record is expected, typically with 2–3 first-author or corresponding-author papers. Applicants are generally expected to be under 35 years of age, consistent with institutional requirements.
