Jinan University is seeking highly motivated postdoctoral researchers in civil engineering materials and structural engineering . The research group works on advanced and interdisciplinary topics in cement-based materials , including mechanical performance and durability, microstructural and chemical characterisation, CO₂ sequestration in construction materials, sustainable waste recycling systems, multifunctional and smart cementitious composites, and emerging areas such as energy storage concrete and concrete-based supercapacitors. Ideal candidates should have strong expertise in concrete technology , structural materials , durability, sustainability, or closely related areas. A strong SCI Q1 publication record is expected, typically with 2–3 first-author or corresponding-author papers. Applicants are generally expected to be under 35 years of age, consistent with institutional requirements. This is a rolling application process.
