About this position
The Department of Food Science and Technology in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences at The Ohio State University is advertising multiple postdoctoral research associate openings for a USDA-funded project, “When Blue is Green.”
The project is interdisciplinary and aims to develop integrated zero-waste seafood production systems. Research areas include microalgae cultivation for wastewater treatment, processing microalgal biomass into high-value bioproducts, modeling nutrient and energy flows in controlled environment agriculture, biorefinery process design, simulation and optimization, and life cycle assessment for food, agricultural, and biological systems.
