Responsibilities include experimental setup development, materials synthesis and analysis, sub-component fabrication, process optimization and integration, technical reporting, and publication in peer-reviewed journals. The role also involves collaboration with researchers from universities, national laboratories, and industry.

Eligibility requires a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Materials Engineering, or a related discipline completed within the last five years. Applicants should have strong experimental research experience, a strong publication record, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and in collaborative teams. Experience with advanced functional materials, heat transfer, thermal sciences, nanofluids, phase-change materials, membranes, adsorption/sorption, or AI/ML for materials discovery is preferred.

Funding details

Full funding including tuition fees and living expenses is available for this position. The scholarship covers all educational costs and provides a monthly stipend.
