About this position
The University of Western Australia (UWA), School of Agriculture and Environment, is recruiting a Postdoctoral Research Associate in plant–microbe interactions, soil health, microbiome science, metabolomics, RNAi, and sustainable agriculture.
This is a full-time, fixed-term research position for 3.5 years based in Crawley, Western Australia. The role sits within a research-intensive environment and offers the chance to contribute to world-class work on soil microbial ecology, crop resilience, plant disease management, and agricultural sustainability.
The advertised salary is AUD 83,499–112,371 per year plus 17% superannuation. The post is open to current UWA staff as well as applicants within and outside Australia.
Applicants should have a PhD or near completion in soil science, plant science, microbial ecology, or a related field. Strong publication records are expected, and experience in microbiome research, metabolomics, and/or RNAi in soil or plant systems is highly desirable. Collaborative research experience and strong communication skills are also emphasized.
