What's required

Applicants should have a PhD completed or near completion in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Performance Engineering or a closely related discipline. The role requires demonstrated research expertise in experimental computer systems, performance evaluation, benchmarking, computer architecture, embedded/HPC systems or a related area, plus experience designing controlled and repeatable experiments, quantitative data analysis, statistical reasoning, validation and interpretation of results. Experience with FPGA, GPU or accelerator technologies is desired, along with familiarity with high performance or embedded computing, strong programming and data-analysis skills preferably in Python and C/C++, a record of high-quality research outputs, collaborative ability, and compliance with security requirements. Australian citizenship is required, and applicants must be residing in Australia only.
