University of Missouri, Columbia is recruiting a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Salehi Water and Environmental Research group led by Dr. Maryam Salehi, Associate Professor in Civil and Environmental Engineering.

The position is centered on environmental analytical chemistry, with research interests in microplastics, chemical leaching from plastics, emerging contaminants, and water quality. The successful candidate will join an interdisciplinary research program and contribute to environmental sample analysis using techniques such as LC-MS/MS and GC-MS.

This is a one-year postdoctoral appointment with the possibility of extension depending on satisfactory performance and the availability of funding. The advertised compensation is $60,000 per year plus $2,000 per year travel support.
