About this position
The University of Queensland is advertising a Postdoctoral Research Fellow position based at its St Lucia Campus, Brisbane, Australia, within the School of the Environment and the Radiogenic Isotope Facility. The position also involves producing high-quality publications and contributing to the supervision of Honours and Higher Degree by Research students.
Eligibility highlights include completion or near completion of a PhD in a relevant field such as marine geology, geochemistry, geochronology, or a closely related discipline. Applicants should have experience in an ultra-clean isotope geochemistry laboratory, sample preparation, low-level trace element geochemistry, radiogenic isotope analysis, and preferably MC-ICP-MS or related analytical techniques. A strong publication record, analytical ability, teamwork, and communication skills are expected; coral identification and ArcGIS experience are desirable.
