About this position
Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) is recruiting a Postdoctoral Research Fellow for the Tafesse Lab in the area of spatial biology, tissue imaging, multiplex imaging, and tuberculosis (TB) granuloma mapping.
The project focuses on nanobody-based multiplex imaging of Mycobacterium tuberculosis in lung tissues, with an emphasis on mapping immune cells and TB antigens using advanced imaging approaches such as mIF and IHC, together with computational analysis tools including QuPath, Python, and R. The work is aimed at supporting vaccine and therapeutic development.
Applicants should hold a PhD in Biomedical Sciences, Immunology, Pathology, or a related field. Experience with tissue imaging, especially IHC/IF and FFPE samples, is required. Skills in image analysis and/or multiplex imaging are preferred, and a strong publication record is expected.
This is a research-focused postdoctoral opening rather than a scholarship. No deadline, funding package, or application portal is stated in the post.
