Postdoctoral Research Opportunity in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at SRM University-AP, Amaravati, India.

The position is hosted by Dr. Tousif Khan N, Associate Director- Faculty Affairs and Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The postdoctoral scholar will work on research spanning power electronic converters, DC–DC converters, solar PV, MPPT, battery charging systems, microgrids, renewable energy integration, EVs, energy storage, AI and machine learning applications in power and energy systems, and real-time control and embedded implementation.

The research environment includes dedicated laboratory infrastructure, real-time simulation/control platforms, FPGA/DSP systems, precision power analyzers, oscilloscopes, and experimental converter setups. The role emphasizes theoretical development, simulation, real-time implementation, experimental validation, and scholarly publications.

Eligibility: candidates should have a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Control Systems, Energy Systems, or a closely related area. Strong skills in modelling, control theory, power converters, MATLAB/Simulink, and real-time implementation are preferred, along with a good publication record.

Funding and duration: initially 1 year, extendable based on performance. Fellowship is provided as per SRM University-AP norms; no specific stipend amount is mentioned.
