The Akondi Lab at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Berhampur, India, is inviting applications for a postdoctoral position as Project Research Scientist - I (Non-Medical). The lab, part of the Department of Physical Sciences, focuses on the applications of adaptive optics technology in ophthalmoscopy, vision science, and microscopy. The advertised project involves the development of a tunable lens-integrated Shack-Hartmann wavefront aberrometer for comprehensive ocular wavefront assessment in patients with and without intraocular lenses.
