About this position

Urgent postdoctoral research opportunity in Anion Exchange Membrane (AEM) polymer development at the Electro-membrane Processes Unit, Membrane Science & Separation Technology Department, CSIR – Central Salt and Marine Chemicals Research Institute (CSIR-CSMCRI), Bhavnagar, Gujarat, India.

The project is focused on polymer science, membrane science, chemical engineering, materials science, and electrochemistry, with research themes including AEM polymer design, hydroxide-conducting membranes, membrane durability and alkaline stability, advanced polymer materials for AEM water electrolyzers, and green hydrogen technologies.

The post seeks a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher with a Ph.D. in Polymer Science, Membrane Science, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field. Strong hands-on experience in AEM polymer synthesis, membrane fabrication, polymer functionalization, crosslinking, membrane casting, ion-conducting polymer development, and membrane characterization is emphasized, together with a strong publication record in membrane science, polymer chemistry, electrochemistry, or hydrogen energy.

This is presented as a collaborative international research environment aimed at next-generation membrane materials for sustainable hydrogen production. Interested candidates are asked to contact Prof. BeeLyong Yang at blyang@kumoh.ac.kr.

No application deadline or formal portal link is provided in the post.
