About this position
The Linz Lab at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan is recruiting a postdoctoral researcher in bioanalytical chemistry to work on the characterization of extracellular vesicles and lipid nanoparticles.
The group has established a microfluidic digital PCR platform for analyzing cargo in nanovesicles and is now seeking a new postdoc to expand the target panel and increase multiplexing capacity. This project sits at the intersection of analytical chemistry, biomedical engineering, quantitative PCR, microfabrication, and computational nucleic acid modeling.
Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in analytical chemistry, biomedical engineering, or a related field. Prior experience in at least one of the following is expected: designing qPCR reagents, clean room microfabrication, or computational nucleic acid modeling. The post is open only to candidates currently allowed to train in the United States.
To apply, email your CV and a brief statement of research experience to Prof. Tom Linz at [email protected]. No deadline was stated in the post.
