About this position
New postdoctoral opening in experimental environmental economics and behavioral finance at Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz, Department of Business & Economics.
The project is part of TRANSFIN, a collaborative research project studying when climate policy and sustainable finance regulation actually lead households to invest in climate mitigation and adaptation. The research combines survey data and experimental methods to examine how differences in preferences affect the take-up of existing support schemes and to design and analyze a field experiment using realistic financing contracts for climate investments.
The team includes Florian Hett (Digital Economics), Andreas Gerster (Environmental Microeconomics), and Andrej Gill (Professor for Corporate Finance). The ideal candidate should have strong skills in experimental methods and research interests in experimental economics, behavioral economics, public/environmental economics, and finance.
