About this position
EGADE Business School at Tecnológico de Monterrey is inviting applications for two full-time Postdoctoral Researcher positions in enterprising families, with a focus on either artificial intelligence (AI) and long-term orientation or wealth management of entering families.
The positions are based within the Institute of Enterprising Families for Mexico and LATAM (IFEM) and will work closely with Dr. Justin Craig and Dr. Marcela Ramírez Pasillas. The research agenda spans family business, AI, leadership, ownership, wealth, sustainability, and value creation in Mexico and Latin America.
Responsibilities include co-authoring high-impact research, designing and executing quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-method studies, managing archival datasets and field/survey work, using advanced analytics and AI tools, curating IFEM publications, supporting ethical research compliance, and disseminating findings through manuscripts, conferences, seminars, and practitioner outlets. Optional teaching may be available depending on interest and program needs.
Applicants should have a PhD completed by January 2026 in Management, Business, Economics, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field. Strong empirical/theoretical skills are expected, including experience with R, Stata, Python, machine learning, FsQSA, hypothesis testing, proposition development, or qualitative coding. Excellent written and spoken English and Spanish are required for fieldwork and collaboration.
The appointment is for 12 months with a possible 12-month extension based on proven results. Compensation and benefits are competitive under Tecnológico de Monterrey policies. The role is on-site in Monterrey, Mexico, with reasonable flexibility as project needs allow.
