About this position

Postdoctoral Researcher (Post-doc) at the Eugeniusz Piasecki University of Physical Education in Poznań, Department of Neuromuscular Physiotherapy, within the OPUS 30 project (No. 2025/59/B/NZ4/02602).

Candidate profile and eligibility

Applicants should have a doctoral degree and a strong background in neurophysiology-related areas such as biological sciences, medical biology, medical sciences, health sciences, physical culture sciences, biomedical engineering, or psychology. The call also asks for a documented research record, including at least three journal publications with Impact Factor where the candidate is first or last author, plus experience in a research grant or a research internship of at least one week. Relevant hands-on experience in psychophysical or neurophysiological research involving the human musculoskeletal system is important, especially in biomechanics, EMG analysis, motion capture, dynamometry, stabilometry, mathematical modelling, biopotential analysis, bio-algorithms, biomedical signal processing, or computational neuroscience. Strong English ability is required for communication and publication, together with demonstrated interest in nervous system function, movement neurophysiology, and neuromuscular assessment.
