About this position
The Ohio State University is inviting applications for a Post Doctoral Scholar in Dr. Christina Dyar’s lab within the College of Nursing. The project focuses on psychological mechanisms linking stigma-related stressors such as discrimination and microaggressions to mental health and substance use among LGBTQ+ individuals.
The scholar will contribute to ongoing cross-sectional, longitudinal, and ecological momentary assessment studies, analyze existing data, co-author manuscripts, and receive mentorship in grant writing. This is a full-time, fixed-term postdoctoral position with an expected duration of 2 years, with possible extension beyond that period depending on performance.
Eligibility requires a Ph.D. in social/behavioral/health sciences or a related field such as psychology, public health, nursing, or sociology by the start date, plus 4-5 years of research experience in quantitative and/or qualitative social/behavioral/health sciences research. Preferred qualifications include experience with both qualitative and quantitative data analysis, peer-reviewed publishing, study design and implementation, independent and team-based work, strong communication, and project management skills.
