The doctoral dissertation will focus on "Early Identification and Support of Receptive Grammatical Skills: Development of Diagnostic and Educational Approaches," including the validation of the GraF GruS instrument and the development and piloting of a support concept.

As a doctoral candidate, you will participate in research projects within CERI, contribute to the research focus on Inclusive Education, and collaborate with project partners. Independent research and publication activities are expected, and you may be involved in teaching and examination tasks, particularly in teacher training programs (Bachelor and Master) and the Master Inclusive Education. Supervision of students, especially in empirical data analysis, and involvement in organizational and administrative tasks are also part of the role.

The University of Graz offers an annual gross salary of at least €52,865.40 for a full-time position, with the possibility of overpayment based on qualifications and experience. The contract is temporary for three years, starting July 1, 2026, with a 30-hour work week. The university provides a vibrant, diverse, and inclusive working environment, flexible working models, and a comprehensive internal continuing education program. Benefits include access to healthcare services and a commitment to sustainability.

Applicants must have completed a diploma or master’s degree in Inclusive Education, Psychology, or a related field. Experience in empirical research project conception and organization, a focus on inclusive education, international conference experience, and publication activity are preferred.
