About this position

Awarefy Co., Ltd. is recruiting a Researcher / Postdoctoral-equivalent fixed-term contract employee for its Kokoro Research Institute (AMRI) in Tokyo, Japan.

The position supports the AMED-funded WAVE Study, a project on the prevention of worker burnout through an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)-based digital program. The work is embedded in a real-world implementation and commercialization setting, with collaboration involving the University of Occupational and Environmental Health, Waseda University, and the Clinical Epidemiology Research Promotion Organization.

Research activities include coordination of a two-arm parallel randomized controlled trial (RCT) with about 300 participants, ethics and consent documentation, data cleaning and descriptive statistics, qualitative interview support and coding, implementation-evaluation surveys, and dissemination through conference presentations and papers.

Relevant fields include clinical psychology, public health, sociology, and related medical/social science areas. Applicants should hold a doctoral degree or higher; current doctoral students may also apply. Experience in intervention studies, human-subject research, statistics software, remote collaboration tools, and deadline-based project management is required, while CBT, RCT, qualitative research, occupational health, and English academic writing experience are welcomed.
