Spatial Analysis and Augmented Reality Dalhousie University in Canada

In this project, we explore how spatial analysis techniques traditionally used in architecture and urban planning can support authoring, implementing, and evaluating building-scale immersive augmented reality experiences.  The project involves iterative participatory design with content creators, software toolkit development in Unity 3D, spatial analysis using tools like QGIS, DepthMapX, R, and/or Matlab, designing and running "in-the-wild" field studies, and evaluating results using qualitative and quantitative approaches.
