About this position

The University of Graz invites applications for the position of University Assistant without doctorate (PhD position) in the Department of Human Resource Management. This opportunity is ideal for candidates seeking to pursue a dissertation in Human Resource Management while contributing to teaching and research activities within a vibrant academic environment.

As a University Assistant, you will engage in independent teaching of courses, participate in examination tasks, and contribute to research projects in areas such as Austrian labour law, gender studies, and organizational psychology. You will also (co-)supervise Bachelor’s theses, support students, and take part in organizational and administrative tasks, including evaluation measures.

The position offers a temporary contract for up to four years, with an annual gross salary of at least €52,865.40 for a full-time role (30 hours per week). Overpayment is possible based on qualifications and experience. Applicants must hold a relevant Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Psychology, or Sociology with a focus on personnel and work. Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills are also required.
