Abdeljalil Métioui is a Professor at Université du Québec à Montréal, Canada. His research interests include science education, with a focus on epistemological and philosophical conceptions of the nature of science, misconceptions in science among pre-service teachers, and the historical development of scientific concepts. Recent publications explore topics such as light interaction with matter, the use of scientific knowledge in reasoning about electrification phenomena, and the conception of electric circuits among students.
