Adrian Saurin

Adrian Saurin at the University of Dundee is advertising a postdoctoral researcher position in his lab. The project focuses on senescence and senescence evasion in cancer therapy responses , with broader relevance to cell cycle , mitosis , aneuploidy , and related kinase/phosphatase biology. This is a research opening in a cancer biology / cell biology environment, and the post is described as available for up to 5 years . The post links to the lab website for more information about the project and lab culture, and to a jobs.ac.uk advert for the formal application details. No deadline, salary, or funding specifics are stated in the post itself. Interested candidates should review the linked job advert and the lab website, then follow the application instructions provided there.

University of Dundee is recruiting a Postdoctoral Researcher (UOD2267) in the Department of Genome Integrity , within the Faculty of Health / Cancer Research unit. The project sits in Professor Adrian Saurin’s lab and is part of a Cancer Research UK-funded programme investigating how cell enlargement and senescence contribute to cancer progression and treatment response. The research will use omics approaches , cell biology , live-cell microscopy , and CRISPR screens to study senescence, genome instability, and vulnerabilities in enlarged mammalian cells. This is a fixed-term appointment for 36 months with a salary of £37,694–£46,049 per annum (Grade 7). Applicants should hold a PhD in a relevant scientific area , have at least one main-author publication , and bring strong experience in cell biology and the senescence field . The role is based at the Ninewells campus in Dundee , Scotland, UK. To apply, use the external candidate application link or the internal OneUniversity route if you already work at Dundee. The closing date is 21 September 2026 at 23:59 . For project details and lab culture, the post also points to the Saurin lab website.
