Fully Funded PhD Scholarships in Chemistry and Nanomaterials at the University of Genoa and Italian Institute of Technology

3 fully funded PhD scholarships are available in Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry at the University of Genoa in collaboration with the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT) . The research themes are centered on nanomaterials , nanocrystals , photonics , light-matter interaction , advanced spectroscopy , and energy applications . Students may work on hybrid low-dimensional semiconductor nanomaterials, colloidal nanocrystals for energy-related applications, or synthesis and spectroscopy of nanocrystals. This is a strong opportunity for candidates interested in materials chemistry, photonics, renewable energy, energy storage, and advanced characterization of functional materials. Funding: 3 funded PhD places with an annual scholarship value of €19,500 per year, including allocations and social obligations according to the official announcement. Eligibility / requirements: Applicants should provide academic qualifications and transcripts, a CV, a research proposal in English, and 1–3 recommendation letters. Publications, conference participation, patents, and a master's thesis summary are recommended.
