Applicants should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Biological Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Computational Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related field. Strong interest in AI/ML for scientific and engineering problems, programming experience in Python or Julia, and familiarity with scientific computing libraries or CFD software such as OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent, or COMSOL are preferred but not required.
Funding includes a full tuition waiver, competitive annual stipend, health insurance subject to university policy, and support for conference travel, workshops, and professional development.
