Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas / ICNOVA – NOVA Institute of Communication is advertising a research grant for a PhD student within the PRODIGI – Promoting Resilience and Online Digital and Informational Skills project (Grant No. 101182849), funded by the Creative Europe Programme. The work plan is centered on communication sciences and digital media, with activities that include the design and production of Open Educational Resources (OER), practical methodological guides in Portuguese and English, toolkits for evaluating interventions on digital and information skills, statistical analysis, project reports in interactive formats, and science communication content in multimedia formats. This is a temporary 6-month grant, expected to start in January 2027, and is intended for candidates already enrolled in a PhD programme. Eligible applicants must hold a Master’s degree in Communication Sciences or related fields and be enrolled in a PhD in Communication Sciences, Digital Media, or related fields. Preferred experience includes knowledge of media and information literacy with vulnerable audiences, development of educational resources, interactive and multimedia production, programming tools, and statistical analysis methods. Foreign degrees must be recognised by a Portuguese institution under applicable legislation before contract signing. The monthly maintenance allowance is €1,359.64, with optional voluntary social insurance and personal accident insurance.
