The Faculty of Law at the University of Cologne is offering a research assistant position at the Academy for European Human Rights Protection, with the possibility of pursuing a PhD. The post is based in Cologne, Germany, and sits within a highly specialized research environment led by Professor Angelika Nußberger. The successful candidate will work on doctoral research related to the Academy’s main areas: European and international human rights protection, constitutional and public international law, and East European law. In addition to research, the role includes organizing and supporting academic events and projects, as well as contributing to teaching activities such as working groups and moot court formats. This is a fixed-term part-time position for 2 years (19.92 hours per week), with remuneration according to TV-L E13, subject to the relevant personal and contractual conditions.
