The Nanosensors & Nanoenergy Lab (NSNE Lab), School of Electronics Engineering, VIT Vellore, is inviting applications for
one PhD candidate
to join a multidisciplinary research team.
Research themes
include triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs), piezoelectric nanogenerators (PENGs), electrochemistry and energy systems, sensors and biosensors, soft robotics/actuators, drug delivery systems, metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), self-healing hydrogels, MXenes and advanced nanomaterials, and artificial intelligence/machine learning for smart sensing systems.
Ideal candidate profile:
motivated, curious, creative, resilient, and able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative research environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are emphasized.
