Postdoctoral Research Fellow opportunity in Radiology / Ultrasound Engineering at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, USA. The Ultrasound Laboratory in the Department of Radiology is recruiting a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to join a multidisciplinary team led by Prof. Azra Alizad and Prof. Mostafa Fatemi . The group develops and translates innovative ultrasound technologies into clinical practice using state-of-the-art research systems. Research areas include quantitative high-definition microvasculature imaging (qHDMI), perfusion imaging for peripheral arterial disease, ultrasound elastography, and AI-based medical imaging and diagnostics. The fellow will work closely with physicians, scientists, and engineers across Mayo Clinic, contributing to both technology development and clinical translation. Eligibility highlights : a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; strong background in ultrasound, signal processing, image processing, and machine learning; strong programming skills in MATLAB and/or C/C++; and strong communication and teamwork skills.
