Barbara Ferracuti is an Associate Professor at Università degli Studi Niccolò Cusano in Italy. Her research focuses on structural engineering, particularly in the areas of corrosion effects on concrete structures, seismic performance of buildings, and advanced materials for reinforcement. Recent contributions include studies on the flexural performance of prestressed concrete beams and the numerical prediction of post-tensioned timber wall systems. She is also involved in developing fragility curves for earthquake-damaged structures and investigating cyclic responses in engineered wood systems.
