Project-funded PhD opportunity at Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur in Medical Surgical Robotics and Applied Artificial Intelligence . The research focuses on robot-assisted minimally invasive surgery , skull-base surgical robotics , computer vision , intelligent robotic systems , robotic manipulation , and human-robot interaction . The work will be carried out in an interdisciplinary environment with collaboration from medical/clinical experts. Eligibility: B.Tech./B.E. in Robotics, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant discipline with at least 3 years of research experience; or B.Tech./B.E. + M.Tech./M.E. in a relevant discipline. Candidates with strong hands-on experience in robotics, AI, computer vision, medical robotics, or mechatronics are encouraged to apply. Funding: Fellowship of ₹67,000/month or as per applicable project guidelines. The selected candidate will initially be appointed as Project Research Scientist for 6 months, with possible extension based on performance and project requirements. The candidate will be allowed to pursue a Ph.D. at IIT Jodhpur subject to admission rules.
