University of Florida is advertising a Lecturer (Instructional Assistant Professor) position in the Department of Plant Pathology at the Gainesville main campus. This is a teaching-focused faculty role in plant pathology , plant health management , and related biology/agricultural sciences topics. The successful candidate will develop and deliver a teaching program related to plant health and global issues in plant health. Teaching duties include six classes per year, such as a UF Quest course, a Plant Science core course, a general education biology course, and an upper-division undergraduate course in plant health management. The post also involves mentoring, curriculum development, advising, and scholarly activities related to instruction.
