The 7th Annual Rising Stars in Engineering in Health workshop is now accepting applications. This is a two-day event co-hosted by the University of Pennsylvania , Columbia University , Johns Hopkins University , Cornell University , and Boston University , bringing together outstanding scholars working at the intersection of engineering, medicine, and health . The workshop is intended for postdoctoral fellows, research scientists, and graduate students who are about 1–2 years away from applying for a faculty position . Applicants from engineering, health, or both domains are welcome, as long as their research fits the engineering-in-health theme. The event will feature selected Rising Stars from across the country and beyond. Funding: The organizers hope to provide a travel fellowship for selected participants to help cover or offset travel and lodging costs. No tuition or salary funding is mentioned.
