Cristina Bignardi is a Full Professor at the Politecnico di Torino, Dipartimento di Ingegneria Meccanica e Aerospaziale, Italy. Her research areas include biomaterials, medical devices, and mechanical engineering, with recent publications examining topics such as the performance of 3D printed aligners, in vitro testing of novel load systems, and the characterization of carbon used in heart valve production. She is also involved in evaluating the mechanical behavior of dental cements and assessing the stability of acetabular revision cups.
