The ICE2O Lab at the University of South Florida College of Marine Science is recruiting fully funded MS and PhD students for research on Antarctic ice sheet–ocean interactions. Students will engage in interdisciplinary projects combining ice sheet modeling, geophysical observations, and paleoclimate proxy data to advance understanding of ice sheet dynamics and global sea level change. The lab offers a collaborative environment, state-of-the-art resources, and opportunities to contribute to impactful science. Funding packages include tuition, stipend, health insurance, and research support. The USF College of Marine Science, located in St. Petersburg, FL, is a vibrant research hub with expertise in oceanography, Southern Ocean science, and sea level change, and is home to the Florida Flood Hub for Applied Research and Innovation. Applicants must have at least a Bachelor's degree, strong backgrounds in physics or mathematics, and experience in scientific programming. Required application materials include transcripts, three letters of recommendation, a CV or resume, a research interest essay, and a personal statement. International students must provide English proficiency test scores. GRE scores are optional. Applications are due December 15, and prospective students are encouraged to contact Dr. Daniel Lowry for more information. For details on how to apply, visit the ICE2O Lab and USF College of Marine Science websites.
