Ellen Matson

The Matson Laboratory at the University of Rochester is recruiting a postdoctoral scholar to work in homogeneous electrocatalysis with a focus on small molecule hydrogenation chemistries . The position is led by Ellen Matson , Marshall D. Gates Jr. Professor of Chemistry, and the successful candidate will help drive a research project while also mentoring graduate students. Applicants with experience in synthetic inorganic chemistry are especially encouraged to apply, as the lab notes that some of the catalysts are challenging to synthesize. This is a research-intensive postdoctoral opportunity in chemistry, suitable for candidates with a strong background in catalysis, inorganic synthesis, and related mechanistic or synthetic approaches.
