Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna is inviting applications for the PhD in Biorobotics 2026–27 at the BioRobotics Institute in Pontedera (Pisa, Italy). This opportunity is especially relevant for students interested in bioelectronics , neuroengineering , regenerative medicine , functional biomaterials , and implantable neural interfaces . The research environment is interdisciplinary and international, with projects spanning functional biomaterials for nerve regeneration and bioelectronic medicine, next-generation implantable neural interfaces, and bioelectronic protocols plus computational models to modulate autonomic nerve activity and restore organ feedback control.
